To start- let me be clear that I utilize the tarot or oracle cards as a tool to tap into my intuitive nature, activating my seer inner vision. While I studied tarot decades ago, I was taught with a view of the peripheral, basics of it’s heritage but no study of what others thought of each cards meaning. This method of education assisted me in building my intuitive muscles, it did not tie me to the prescribed meanings. Therefore, you might see cards you have a preconceived notion about, utilize your knowledge if it helps, but I ask you to be willing to also receive the messages as I get them- both can be true.
The Draw
Utilizing the question: What do we need to understand about our nature as sacred individuals that will assist in furthering our development?

Card: 2 of Roots (Traditional Tarot 2 of Pentacles)
Message: There is balance inside of each of us, a push and pull of desire and fear. Life is a continual flow of energy. Holding on to anything out of fear that nothing new will come along is a scarcity mindset that blocks advances in all areas of life. Just like a mud slide may create a block in the road, a new way around will bring new opportunities not found utilizing the old route. Build more pathways to abundant thinking with an open heart that is willing to let go. Loss is just the opening of a new receiving.
Inspiration
“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It’s going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth I am also brave, and worthy of love and belonging. - Brené Brown, from Daring Greatly
What I’m reading
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell- Oh my gosh y’all, have you read this book? I’ve written pages on my thoughts on each chapter. Love looking back and seeing how I got it all wrong up until half way through. This book is deep and LONG. I recommend it to anyone willing to put in the time. If you enjoy the study of voice and different POV in a novel, you will get that here too.
Life is Tremendous by Charlie Jones- oldie but a goodie. This is one of the books that has inspired my note for Friday. The message is funny and inspirational. I have a bit of a hard time with the writing, it’s not a gold standard, however the message is worth the read.
The Writing Life by Annie Dillard. Recommended by
as a must read for writers. I love this book. It’s story tells the tale of writing, as well as giving instructions on the writing method without coming right out and saying it. I’m reading this one aloud to myself and dog Nuna as part of the Summer Reading Bingo game over at . Once it’s finished I will have bingo.I’m also reading The Rachel Incident by Caroline O’Donoghue and listening to Stiletto: A Novel by Daniel O’ Malley. All great fun in different ways- I recommend both- and I also now realize, both set in the UK.
The Weekly Draw won’t always be so long each week. At least I hope not, I promised you a shorter note on Sunday’s ☺️.
Wishing you a week full of worthiness and wholehearted living- or at the very least, tiny bits of star dust and magic moments that light up your desires.
Love,
Lenaleah 💕
Congrats on Bingo!
