The tried and true, little girl symbol that’s never fully drawn even on both sides, kind of heart. When I decided hearts would be “the sign” remains in the confines of my early childhood. All I remember is that is what I wanted and so that is what I’ve always received.
Why a sign? Because I’ve floated in and out of despair at different phases of my life. A sign was a point of contact to the knowledge that something outside of myself was listening.
Why a sign? Because I have trust issues. My issues with trust began with those I was supposed to trust most. With no spiritual background except the one I had created with the earth around me and a vague sense of a benevolent being living in the clouds, a sign was like a secret message. My little self loved secret messages, they filled me.
Why a sign? Because I will always believe in magic. Today, I know I’m loved, by myself and by a Divine Source that fills the very air I breathe with life. Hearts just seem like a reminder that I’m on the right path and to keep going.
The Universe is dynamic in Its creation. Expansive in Its abundance. When I finally reached out in the moment of darkness and requested a guide back to myself, It provided the keys: Trust and Truth.
As trust and truth have walked hand in hand through my life like one big theme, they have guided me back to myself. Signs are a gift given, a moment to pause. I stopped asking for them and started letting them find me.
As I move into deeper waters, let my limitless imagination take me out to the passage of the unknown I see tiny signs in all I do. In allowing, I have received. In desiring, I have stirred creation to bring forward more in all I experience.
Searching for signs keeps the active mind focused, guides the desire forward, helps keep thoughts flowing, allows for more freedom to expand the imagination. Signs are like the markings on trees in a remote forest pathway that is rarely travelled yet clearly marked.
Signs have built trust- trust in self and trust in the dynamic endless creation of Spirit.
Trust built is trust explored. Trust explored is a pathway built into the art of utilizing the Divine Creative Mind.
In all this trust, the truth becomes free to be known. The mind opens up and suddenly sees.

For me it’s hearts.
