Okay...this is quite timely. For awhile now I have been doing that thing I do with words...with the word culture. CULTure. I've been cauldron fleshing this to help me make some medicine sense of the people of the world right now. So I took it to the word magic and found culture as CULTure was coming into view...that a level of cult-dom plays out for society to keep moving.

In this post, Lena, you have pointed me in a direction I wasn't seeing to explore. So I took it to the etymology of the word culture and found it's roots culture is about the health and wealth tending of the soil. (my words, not the internets)

This direction turned me towards mySELF and away from trying to make sense of the outside world...and this was a much needed recalibration. THANK YOU!!!

SO...for me, I'm seeing soul culture as the tending of my wholeness as a soul who lives in a body. The body is related to the Earth element. Soul culture is my spirit living inside my body...the relationship between these two opposites as the tilling and fallowing of the soil of my wholeness. Soul culture is becoming the practice of not just surviving, but having nutrient dense energy that provides thriving life. Soul culture is being me...and taking care of both the shit and the shine of that...repairing the broken fences...weeding the ditchlines...planting cover crops and waiting out a growing season...etc, etc, etc. #redneckerystrikesagain

I love you. Thank you for the different direction to explore. Thank you for inciting conversation. xoxo

I always learn from you ever time you go redneck metaphor on me. ☺️ The idea that soul culture is having "nutrient dense energy to provide a thriving life" is the pathway I am seeing unfold as I dive deeper into the story and knowing of soul culture. Thank you for such a loving and thorough answer. ❤️

yes, sister, yes. to the stillness within me that stays, sits, in the whelm of the world around me. to becoming completely empty, and then more empty, so empty the bottom half of me has lost my cauldron and my root... so that i may drift like a genie above her bottle... to re-root into what truth and desire is to me. my soul culture is the breath, the inhale and the gentle exhale as i find my edges, my censures, the space of myself in the in-between of what is and what i see. my soul culture is authenticity and truth, pain and joy in becoming... i fill my cup in the small steps, the recognition and release of mystery/my story, the whisp of a path that i cannot grasp, but know is there... i fill my cup with "trust you, you will know."

"the space of myself in the in-between of what is and what i see." Yes! I feel this too- soul culture feels vast and necessary as well as grounded with small spaces for tiny candles of joy to guide the way. Love your idea of soul culture sister 💕🙏
